Dr. Narayn Pillai is a distinguished general and interventional cardiologist in West Palm Beach, Florida, known for his expertise in diagnosing, treating, and managing heart and vascular diseases. With over 28 years of experience, he has earned a reputation for compassionate patient care and his commitment to advancing cardiovascular health.
Dr. Pillai specializes in the radial approach for cardiac catheterization, performing the majority of his procedures through the arm. This technique offers patients faster recovery times and reduced complication rates compared to traditional methods. He was instrumental in bringing shockwave intravascular lithotripsy to Good Samaritan Medical Center, which uses controlled sound waves to break up calcium deposits within heavily calcified coronary arteries.
He has a particular interest and extensive expertise in peripheral endovascular interventions, successfully treating conditions that affect arteries and veins. His proficiency in both coronary and peripheral interventions has made him a trusted expert in both life-saving and limb-saving procedures in emergent and elective care.

Outside of the clinic and the cath lab, Dr. Pillai cherishes his time with his family. He resides in West Palm Beach with his wife, Dr. Shaachi Gupta, a local oncologist, and their two children. The family enjoys biking and golf together.
